Thanks for your prayers these past couple of weeks. We survived the time of being apart as a family, and Wendy happily made it back safely to our home yesterday (Sunday) afternoon from her outreach in the deserts of north Africa. Her trip went well, and she enjoyed taking along Dr. Roger and a Gabonese nurse from Bongolo too. Over 200 sight-restoring cataract surgeries were performed by the team, and the good news was shared with many. Wendy even had the privilege of providing surgery for an evangelist from a local mission hospital – what a great privilege to be able to encourage and enable him in his work!
Here are our requests:
- Praise God for providing so well for Wendy’s trip; pray that He would use the loving care provided to draw many to Himself in north Africa
- Safe/smooth travels for many who are traveling for our strategic review and hospital meeting
- An ability to hear clearly from God and each other during both the review and the hospital meeting
- Good health and rest for our family – our kids have had minor colds for the past several days, and for Wendy’s back
A week ago, our church had a dedication ceremony for their new Sunday School building. Attached is a photo of our kids and the pastor in front of the new building. This is a big praise because in the past, the Sunday school was meeting under a tree which made it difficult during times of heavy sun, rain, or ant attacks!
Thank you for your continued encouragement and support! We are blessed by you!
