Thursday, August 3
Option 1 Hike around the Lake
11:00 AM Hike around the Lake with 11:30 AM Swan Feeding, host Ken Zulla.

Walk the 2.3-mile Lake Junaluska Walking Trail that circles the lake. During the walk, you will cross the Turbeville Footbridge, pass 210 rose bushes along the Rose Walk, see two gazebos, cross the bridge above the dam and see unparalleled vistas and awe-inspiring beauty. For more information about these buildings and locations, you are encouraged to download and print our walking trail guide (PDF).

During the walk, we will stop to feed Lake Junaluska’s swans. There have been swans on Lake Junaluska for over 20 years. Their legacy stems back to a small group of community members who introduced swans to the lake in the mid-1990s. A volunteer group called The Junaluskans contributes to feed the swans.

Option 2 World Methodist Museum
11:00 AM World Methodist Museum

The World Methodist Museum houses the largest collection of Methodist history, artifacts and memorabilia in the world. Here you can see history come to life as the museum unveils the story of John Wesley, his family, the formation of Methodism in the 18th century, and the Methodist movement’s subsequent global expansion.

Friday, August 4
