Membership in the Christian Ophthalmology Society may be granted after meeting the following three requirements:
- Profession of Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord
- Being an ophthalmologist, ophthalmologist-in-training, or a medical student with an interest in pursuing ophthalmology.
- A desire to support the goals of the society
