Foster A Missionary!
The Christian Ophthalmology Society announced the launch of the “Foster A Missionary” Program in August 2021.
Every two years a missionary ophthalmologist is chosen by the COS board to be sponsored for an entire two year period by the society.
Society members will support the efforts of the “fostered” missionary by various means, one of which can be highlighting the missionary in their office and sharing with their patients also about what support can be given to help this missionary and their efforts.
The sponsored missionary for 2021-2023 is Dr. Wendy Hofman who is serving at Bongolo Hospital in Gabon, Africa.
